Ferrari TESTA ROSSA

As a child, my favorite car was/is the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. So, this image popped into my mind last night for a magazine layout concept. Photoshop and InDesign helped me along the way. The windshield on the cover was modified as the original had a paint-peeling brown wall behind it. I made use of the headlights to re-create the new windshield with a black background.

This was my first Adobe Illustrator artwork that I ever did. I enjoy using Illustrator because one has to really think on how to solve the problems of creating the illusions.

Creative Socio 35 ft Tradeshow booth

I used to design trade show booths for several companies. AT&T, Manhattan Coffee Soda, Telephonics, and Tara Toys to name a few. I didn't just create the images, I also had to create the style of booth and hardware to optimize flow, budget, and design. It was a fun job seeing your designs created to big and bright.

Sponsorship Projects

Sponsorships to our youth program means we give our client a large vinyl banner. I take pride in designing these banners to generate exposure to the crows of parents coming to our games.

Some investors and myself wanted to look into getting a minor league ice hockey team to our area. It was going to be a big project, maybe even too big as it never got an inch off the ground. However, this was going to be the teams name. The semaphore flags spell ARG.... As in Arrrrggg me hearties...

Restoring photos I take great pride in. In some cases it is like bring a family member back to life. The emotions that you get from a client after a restoration is probably the most satisfying. Let's face it, the world is digital and there is such a nostalgic romance to old images. Fixing them is a great honor. Especially in this case. Thank you for your service and protection.

The Penguin Illustration

Several pencil leads used to create the sinister Penguin. The scan does him an injustice almost as much as he did to Batman. Anyway, I love illustration via traditional methods, pencil is my favorite.

JOKER Illustration

Another pencil illustration capturing the insane Arkhamian laugh of the Joker. Batman flies by in the background to try and out flank the crafty Joker.

I wrote a child's book and this troll was one of the main character. I shelved the project, but feel soon I will pick it up and finish it.
